Need your Help!

Thank you again to everyone who has sent me their information! We have 100 names so far -- which means we're about a fifth of the way through! Still a long way to go, which is why we still need your help in spreading the word.

Almost as important, we also need names of people who have married within the class, as well as anyone you know who is deceased. I haven't received word on either of these, yet, and am hoping to get some assistance with this...

So please, if you know of anyone who fits the above criterion, let me know in a quick email to MandyHoov@hotmail.com.

Committee is meeting with the Reunions with Class company next week, after which we will most likely know the specific date of the event (will be late August/early September, most likely, thanks to your feedback on the Reunion Poles! YES, your opinion REALLY does matter!!) so you can mark your calendars! Be sure to check back here periodically for important updates, and again, SPREAD THE WORD!

First Committee Meeting Wrap-Up!

Hey all!

So, your fabulous reunion committee met last night for our premier rendezvous. And it was a success! We have a lot of smart and creative (and experienced event planning!) minds on the team, and I have no doubt that we are more than capable of planning an awesome event for you!

You: Wow, Mandy, that's great! but what can those of us not on the committee do to help?

Mandy: I'm so glad you asked, You. There are a couple of things you can do to really help us out here in the beginning stages!

You: GREAT! What are they?

Mandy:
First thing's first, and that is SPREADING THE WORD and getting people to email me their current contact information. That is SO IMPORTANT. Just refer them to the blog -- if you don't remember the exact URL, just have them do a Google search for KHS Class of 1999 Reunion and it comes up NUMBER ONE! (gotta love search engine marketing!)

Secondly, we are putting together a list of our classmates from 1999 who have married other classmates of 1999. If you know of anyone who has married someone else in their own class, please let me know!

And lastly, we are compiling a list of deceased classmates of 1999. This has proven the most difficult, as it is a touchy subject. If you know of anyone who graduated with us who has passed, please PLEASE let me know via email or as a comment to this blog and we will include them in the memorial.


Any of this information would be extremely helpful! It's part of the initial packet I'm putting together for the company we've hired, and it's due SEPTEMBER 8th. EEK!

First Committee Meeting Scheduled

The KHS Class of 99 Reunion Committee has scheduled its first meeting! This will simply be a small get together to hash out our initial ideas, but mostly just to break the ice after 10 years since seeing each other!

All are welcome to join if you would like to be a part of the planning fun!

When: Tuesday, August 26th, 6pm
Who: (so far) Amanda's, Krystle, Nicole, and Christian via Satellite, and YOU!!
Why: Because we're AWESOME, and we want to plan the most AWESOME reunion for you guys!

KHS Reunion!

Hello my fellow Kamiak High School 1999 graduates!

If you can believe it, the time has come for our ten year reunion. I know, crazy stuff.

WE are in the INITIAL processes right now, but have started a committee to begin preparations. September we will begin meetings to start to discuss further details, as we all know that the summer can be a VERY busy time for all!

Anyone interested in joining us to help out, i promise it won't be too much work (we've hired a company to do most of the leg work, Reunions With Class, who also did the 1997 reunion), and we'd love any and all to join! So far it is myself, Christian Fresco (via sattelite in NYC), Amanda (Hooser) Giralmo, and Amanda (Dennis) Abbinanti. And no, you don't have to be named Amanda to be a member of the committee. :)

We will keep you abreast of all developments via this blog, so be sure stay up to date with the happenings!
